The Nominees for the 2016 IFTA Gala Television Awards have been announced, and we're delighted to report that our very own Garret Farrell & Michelle Fingleton have been nominated in the Best Sound category for their work on 1916 - The Irish Rebellion.
The landmark three part series, which was narrated by Liam Neeson, is also in the running for Best Documentary Series. John Brennan, who recorded location sound, is also a named nominee for his work on the show, which was scored by Patrick Cassidy.
Directed by Ruan Magan and Pat Collins and Produced Jackie Larkin for Coco Television, where Linda Cullen and Stuart Switzer were the executive producers, the series underwent full Sound post here at Ardmore Sound.
