The chilling first trailer for Yorgos Lanthimos (The Lobster) new film, ‘The Killing of a Sacred Deer’ has arrived online.
Directed by Lanthimos, who co-wrote the screenplay with regular collaborator Efthymis Filippou, the film stars Colin Farrell and Nicole Kidman, and follows a charismatic surgeon (played by Farrell), who is forced to make an unthinkable sacrifice when the behaviour of a teenage boy he has taken under his wing turns sinister.
Ardmore Sound were part of the Sound post team on ‘The Killing of a Sacred Deer’ and will work as part of the same team on Yorgos Lanthimos’s next movie, period drama ‘The Favourite’, which stars Emma Stone, Rachel Weisz, Nicholas Hoult and is currently shooting in the UK.
The Killing of A Sacred Deer will open in cinemas on October 27th.
