Ardmore Sound posted feature A Date for Mad Mary was named joint Best Irish Film at this years Galway Film Fleadh, sharing the honours with Peter Foott’s The Young Offenders.
Directed by Darren Thornton (who co-wrote with brother Colin) and produced by Ed Guiney and Juliette Bonass, A Date for Mad Mary is a tough and tender story about friendship, first love, and letting go of the glory days, which has been earning rave reviews by critics in the run up to this years Fleadh.
Lead actress Seána Kerslake was also awarded the Bingham Ray Award for new talent for her incredible performance in the film.
A Date for Mad Mary is set for nationwide release later this year. Ardmore Sound would like to congratulate all the cast and crew on the films well deserved success.
